Tri-Star owns and operates several digital trunked radio sites that cover a good portion of Northern Illinois. Unlike cellular, digital radio systems offer an open forum for the whole team to share information. Other functions the wide area systems support are privacy between users, GPS based vehicle location, and mobile data which supports third party interfaces, such as mobile invoicing and event monitoring. The money spent on cellular service can pay for a radio system in about 10 months. Tower rates are fixed, and we don't count minutes. There is no license required to operate radios on Tri-Star trunked radio towers.

For the plant operations manager or school superintendent, an internal communication system is an invaluable tool to coordinate your team. From single building, to multi building campuses, we can design and build the most efficient means of communication you will use. Once installed, there are no recurring costs to operate. If you would like more information, you can call us at the number listed on the right side of this page. Or, you can use our convenient Contact Us
